Personally, I don't mind ODESZA trying out this "mainstream" sound. I feel like they definitely made it more accessible to the public while keeping their good old sound/style. I do understand the comparisons to The Chainsmokers (especially Closer). Still love the song overall.

I personally liked it , the ODESZA vibe is there for sure. Also I don't think they care about the masses.

This song is really disappointing. Definitely not what I expected and it makes me feel like they are steering their production to what people want. Please don't lose your touch, ODESZA. No one had your style of music so please don't become a sellout.

Personally I'm not disappointed but I have a friend who pointed out that it sounds similar to The Chainsmokers style. He's hoping that this will be the one "pop" song mixed in with the album for the more organic Odesza sounds. Just some feedback for you guys. On the positive side, never stop making music!
